UPDATE: Gazprom says to raise investment 10% to 2 tln rbl in 2019

MOSCOW, Apr 29 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom plans to raise its investments to 2.094 trillion rubles in 2019 from 1.9 trillion rubles in 2018, the company said in a report on Monday.

“The total amount of investments in accordance with the group’s investment program for 2019 (for gas, oil, power, heat generating and other assets) and existing similar intentions of the group is 2.094 trillion rubles,” the report said.

Rinat Mavlyudov, deputy director of a department, said that Gazprom can adjust an investment program for 2020 and 2021 taking into account the key investment projects.

“Concerning the investment program, the figures approved by the board of directors for 2019 are 1.325 trillion rubles. Indeed, the forecast approved for 2020 and 2021 is a little lower than the figure for 2019, it is 1.065 trillion rubles and 1.25 trillion rubles for 2021,” Mavlyudov said.

“But I would like to emphasize that a long-term development program for the next 10 years is at the development and approval stage. It is being updated. And after approval of this program, the amount of investment will be probably somewhat adjusted taking into account the rate of development of the key priority projects.”
